My Post Halloween Post

Well, the Trick-or-Treaters are done for the evening. Quite a few Spidermen came by today! After dinner, my husband and I walked the neighborhood to see how the neighbors decorated this year. Take a look...

Wow! The houses in your neighborhood are gorgeous!!! The Halloween decorations are pretty cool-I especially like the one with the eyes in the windows:).

Blessings,

Kim

Kim,

The one with the cat eyes is my favorite, too! Every year, it's something new in Halloween decorating.

Our neighborhood is quite a mix of house styles and ages. Notice how (so far) I haven't shown any pics of the outside of our house? It's very plain and boxy and little, and I don't think the outside will ever look "Victorian." But the inside is something I can manage to transform (someday hopefully!) into my interpretation of what it may have looked like in 1873! ;)

I loved the way your neighbors decorated. What wonderful ideas they had. I especially liked the house with the pumpkin up in the window and everything had a ghoulish blue glow to it - very haunting! I also liked all the different shaped pumpkins in the front yard. Too cool!

I always enjoy stopping by your site to see what you've been doing. Great photos! I'm especially fond of your website main photo--this would be a great still life to paint. Sincerely, Mrs. D

I was by to visit the other day and saw this post and just as I was about to post my comment to you, my computer cut me out. It does that many times, always at crucial moments. Anyway, here I am again for a second try. I just love the photos from your neighborhood. what fun Halloween must be there!! Ah golly, it does make me miss the states so very much and all the work that some people put into their decorations for that holiday. We have Halloween here in germany now, but decorations are kept to just a pumpkin on the door step and that is it. I am so glad that you shared such fantastic photos from your home town with us. they make me feel as if i was right there "back home" for one of my favorite times of year. - warmly, debby
