Dearest,

I found your blog just this morning and I must say that I think you are a true kindred spirit!

I too, live in an old Victorian farmhouse...not too fancy...that has been in my husband's family for over 100 years.

We have spent the last 22 years remodeling and I hope we never finish as I just love creating and finding the perfect Victorian touches.

I have added you to my "favorites" and will visit often. I hope you will have a moment to visit me over at: http://homesteadblogger.com/HoneyHillFarm/
I would so love to meet you.

Yours so very kindredly,
Shan

I hope you had a great Valentine's day! The picture was just beautiful. I am just now returning from a blogiday and am catching up on everyones' blogs.

I liked your post on Lincoln, especially the quotations. They are good reminders of how these historic figures paved the way for us to enjoy the freedoms and happiness we too often take for granted.

Take care and have a blessed week!

Sweetbriar-

Welcome back!I hope you are rested up from your blogiday. I'm glad you enjoyed my post about Lincoln. It's amazing that there are some really smart and wise leaders who come along now and again in history. If all that power were up to someone like me, who knows where we'd have ended up! :)

I saw East lake. It brought back memories of my Antique shop. I purchased some very unusual
peices of furniture, EastLake style. I hope you do a post on some of that furniture.

I hope that you had a lovely Valentine's Day too. It's such a feminine holiday. So many pretty things associated with it.
I love the pearls. My Hubby got me a lovely silver heart necklace with a pink cultured pearl in the center.

I did have a nice Valentine's day and hope that you did too, Pam. I am so in love with your little boxes, all those pearls and embellishments. Dreamy!! especially that pink heart one. I can picture it sitting in my own pink bedroom, making my dresser look pretty! :-) Enjoy your lovelies, they are the little things in life that make us happy. ~~ Debby
